The project participated in the All-Atlantic 2021 - All-Atlantic R&I for a Sustainable Ocean: Ministerial High-Level & Stakeholders Conference, which took place under the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union, in close cooperation with the European Commission, from 2 to 4 June 2021, in Ponta Delgada, Portugal, with the aim of strengthening R&I cooperation across and along the Atlantic Ocean, from "pole to pole". In the context of this event, the K2D consortium organized a side event and thematic session focused on the main themes of the project, entitled 'Connecting sub-sea cables and satellites for Global Oceans Health Monitoring - The MIT Flagship Project K2D: Knowledge and Data from the Deep to Space'. This session included 10 presentations by members of the K2D team.
